ES "Extreme Service" Permanent Packer
The ES Extreme Service Permanent Packer is performance rated at 15,000 psi at 350°F or 10,000 psi at 450°F while holding full differential pressure, making it ideal for demanding high-flow production applications and torturous downhole environments.Positive anti-extrusion element construction eliminates packing element extrusion under the most extreme downhole conditions. Non-elastomeric sealing mechanisms at threaded connections further ensure maximum pressure resistance. Seal assemblies are easily released with a half-turn to the right at the packer. The ES features dual upper and lower slips and cones to effectively distribute pressure-induced forces into the supporting casing. Each set of slips features one-piece construction with inserts strategically positioned for maximum retention under extreme loads. Lower slips are secured to the packer mandrel through a threaded connection to avoid damage during running.
