High Pressure/High Temperature
The PathFinder High Pressure/High Temperature Tool Suite includes the SURVIVOR Directional/Gamma tool based on our highly reliable HDS-1 technology, our SURVIVOR Array Wave Resistivity (AWR) tool and Slim AWR, and our SURVIVOR Slim Density tool to log in high pressure and high temperature applications.

Survivor HDS-1L Fixed Collar Directional MWD & Gamma Ray

The durable HDS-1L Directional/Gamma Ray technology has been re-designed to operate in environments with temperatures up to 350 °F and pressures up to 25,000 psi.

The SURVIVOR HDS-1L tool has an integral vibration sensor, high LCM tolerance, low pressure drop and will integrate with all of our LWD sensors. It opens up the possibility of LWD in a variety of deep and hot applications.

Survivor HDS-1R Retrievable Directional MWD & Gamma Ray

Upgraded to operate in HPHT environments. A patented wireline retrievable and reinsertable MWD system capable of working in drilling assemblies from 9 1/2in. O.D. to as small as 3 1/8in. O. D. The HDS-1R provides accurate inclination/azimuth measurements for all HPHT drilling applications. A gamma ray log is also available with the optional in collar gamma-ray sensor.

Survivor HDS-1G Magnetic Interference Free MWD & Gamma Ray

The SURVIVOR Gravity MWD® system is a magnetic interference free survey technique, designed to operate in HPHT environments. The Gravity MWD® system uses the modular HDS-1G tool where magnetic interference and high pressure/high temperature prevents the use of conventional MWD and gyro survey tools. A DataLink connection can be included for real-time communication with the PathFinder LWD systems. A Gamma-ray sensor can be added to this service at the shop or the wellsite.

Survivor Array Wave Resistivity Tool

The SURVIVOR Resistivity Tools are fully compensated dual frequency (2 MHz and 500 KHz) resistivity tool with 12 diameters of investigation from 3 sensors at spacings of 15", 25" and 45". Three spacings provide robust quantitative data for invasion corrections and processing without dielectric assumptions, or single frequency results.

The SURVIVOR Resistivity Tools are rated to operate in environments with pressures up to 25,000 psi and temperatures up to 350° F/175° C (static bottom hole temperature). It features a rig site replaceable battery with a 300+ hour capacity for maximum operating flexibility.

Survivor DPM

The SURVIVOR DPM tool uses two independent and highly accurate quartz gauges to continuously measure annulus pressure and temperature and internal pipe pressure and temperature. The Equivalent Circulationg Density Measured (ECDM) is the most accurate measure of the pressures exerted on the formation and comes from a direct downhole annular pressure measurement.

The SURVIVOR DPM tool can is configured to operate in pressures up to 25,000 psi and temperatures up to 350°F (175°C), completing the SURVIVOR™ Suite of tools.
