Gravity MWD® HDS-1G

The Gravity MWD® system is the world's first interference free survey technique. The Gravity MWD® system uses the modular HDS-1G tool where magnetic interference prevents the use of conventional MWD tools. The system is highly insensitive to downhole movement during survey allowing operation in environments where gyro surveying can be problematic.

Applications for the Gravity MWD® system are:

• Casing drilling
• Drill out of casing shoes/casing windows
• Re-entry work
• Geothermal wells with high magnetism
• Relief wells
• Anti-collision
• Multi-laterals
• For use in conjunction with WINNER passive ranging

Can also be configured to operate in temperatures up to 350°F (175°C) and pressures up to 25,000 psi.

Well Interference Navigation & Ranging (WINNER)

The WINNER (Well Interference Navigation and Ranging) service is a cost effective method for well avoidance and relief well drilling. WINNER is a passive ranging technique that detects nearby and adjacent wells magnetic interference using conventional MWD tools transmitting raw magnetic data.

WINNER Output Data:

• Distance, Tool Face and Direction to the adjacent well
• 3-D image and projection of adjacent well
• Real-time measurements while drilling
• Real-time Confidence and Quality indicators
