WCS supplies a full line of grease injection systems for use in electricline and slickline operations. Grease injection systems contain wellhead fluids and pressure during wireline operations, and allow the wireline to pass through a close-tolerance tube assembly containing grease under high-pressure. Systems are available in 5,000 psi, 10,000 psi and 15,000 psi configurations.
Available Systems
These systems are used to run logging tools into the well during drilling, after drilling and after running casing.
Available Systems:
The design of this tool provides a reliable seal and is anchored to the BOP without removing the rig’s bell nipple and mud monitoring system.
• Eliminates rig down time for lubricator installation
• Maximizes safety of rig personnel
• Multiple options for attaching lubricator to bell nipple
• Suitable for offshore and onshore applications
• Reduces well exposure time between pipe tripping and open hole wireline operations
• Protects annular BOP rubber seal from damage by the wireline cable
This system allows well control maintenance during wireline operations.
• Design keeps wireline a safe distance from the traveling blocks and drill line
• Allows pumping and circulation any time during wireline operations
• Permits wireline tools to be attached to the wireline at floor level
• Wireline is wiped clean when pulled from the well, eliminating costly clean-up
• Three tool styles provide maximum application flexibility
• Tools can be deployed through the top or stripped through with a swivel
The mechanical locking swivel is placed ten feet below the top drive elevators. The wirelineis then able to clear the top drive assembly when entering or exiting the side entry sub.
• Mechanical design for reliable locking and unlocking
• Accommodates either a grease seal or hydraulic pack-off assembly
• Connected to top drive, eliminating need for tongs
• Allows greater range of movement to work torque in pipe
