We are seeking to hire a qualified candidate to fill the position of Manager - Technical Services in our Dubai, UAE location.
Job Summary
- Supervise, deploy and direct engineers responsible for providing technical and operational expertise to external customers in a professional manner.
- Plans, designs and implements support to the business line(s), technical selling support, key field product applications support, well prognosis, and/or product performance support.
- Identifies new product opportunities and development strategies.
- Responsible for investigation of unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action.
- Interfaces with product line management and local management to support direction and strategies to best capture market opportunities.
- Oversees the execution of projects.
- Reviews progress and evaluates results.
- Supervise personnel.
- Works closely with sales, services and operations to help support customers needs.
- Works with latitude in making autonomous decisions.
- Participates in customer interface.
- Responsible for multiple business lines or processes and complex customer projects.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 10 years experience in field operations.
- 3 years in a managerial position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
- Expert knowledge of systems applications.
- Thorough understanding of hydraulics and rig operations.
- Proficient in use of computer based programs related to application of products.
- Ability to supervise and lead employees.
