Dynamic Pressure Module
The PathFinder DPM is an important consideration for any LWD application. Information from this sensor provides a time and depth based log, based on drillpipr and annulus pressures and temperatures.annular pressures along with drill pipe and pressures. These measurements allow continual monitoring of these parameters, permitting real-time monitoring of ECD due to lost circulation, washouts, cuttings overload and gas/fluid influx, etc.
Timely identification and reaction to these dynamic conditions are critical to the overall safety of the drilling operation as well as the hydraulic sensitivity of the formations being drilled.
Equipped with a DataLinkTM at each end, the tool can be added at any position within a PathFinder BHA.
