Job Summary
This position will be responsible for providing technical support to Geo Manufacturing, Smith Services Manufacturing, Smith Technologies Manufacturing and Smith Technologies and Smith Services Engineering.
Primary job duties are as follows:
- Manufacturing/Engineering End-User Support;
- DNC (Digital Numeric Control) Technical Support,
- CNC (Computer Numeric Control) Technical Support,
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) Technical Support,
- QMS (Quality Measurement Systems) Technical Support,
- GEMS End-User Applications Support,
- Technical troubleshooting and problem solving.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical background working in a Manufacturing/Engineering Environment
- Skilled in Manufacturing Computer Hardware and Applications support
- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to effectively provide work instruction to others
- Must be able to work with other departments in order to discover and implement solutions to existing problems
- Good communication skills needed working within department as well as working with external support personnel
- Must be able to work independently
- Outstanding problem-solving skills needed
